MONA PATEL : MY STORY
My journey is a collection of pivots, breakthroughs, and the enduring truth that while the tools change every season, the human heart stays the same. I’ve spent a decade and a half learning exactly what it takes to make a brand not just seen, but remembered.
The aroma of cardamom and chai takes me back to a busy Mumbai morning in 2010. Remember your first day of work? Fresh out of college, full of dreams, I was ready to conquer the world. We all are, aren't we? Whether we aim for the CEO's chair or dream of starting our own company. Nobody tells you how to get there.
“Marketing is about values. This is a very complicated world; it’s a very noisy world. And we’re not going to get a chance to get people to remember much about us. No company is.
So we have to be really clear on what we want them to know about us.”
My career wound through art and design, advertising, UI/UX, and digital marketing. Each pivot taught me something different.
The design studio taught me to see.
The ad agency taught me to persuade.
UI/UX taught me to serve.
Digital marketing taught me to connect.
But here's what nobody told me: the skills are important, but not the full story.
I spent years building my presence on social media—curating feeds, crafting posts, chasing engagement. Those who worked with me knew me as the girl who couldn't contain her enthusiasm, who treated every project like it could change the world.
Then one quiet evening in 2023, I asked myself a question that changed everything:
“When I'm gone, what remains?”
Not my follower count. Not my portfolio screenshots. Stories remain. The ones we're brave enough to tell.
I'd been sitting on mine for years—afraid it wasn't polished enough, wasn't impressive enough, wasn't enough. The vulnerability felt too raw. What if people judged me? What if my journey seemed ordinary?
But when I finally shared it—the failures, the pivots, the moments I almost gave up—something unexpected happened. Messages flooded in: 'I thought I was the only one.' 'You just gave me permission to start.'
That's when KreationSphere crystallized from idea to mission.
I realized we don't need more highlight reels. We need more truth.
A space where your messy middle matters as much as your victory lap. Where your character—your values, your struggles, your evolution—becomes your most compelling content. Where connection replaces competition.
Because here's what I know now: ambition is important, but kindness, humility, and presence matter more. Your resume tells people what you've done. Your story tells them who you are.
And who you are? That's the only brand that truly lasts.
So when someone asks, "Tell me about yourself," don't default to your LinkedIn summary. Share the moment that broke you open. The decision that terrified you. The lesson that changed your trajectory.
Stand in your truth. Your voice deserves to be heard.
Let's build that story together.
